Our North facility is primarily used for overflow of traffic and/or privacy restrictions for our elite customers. Our North facility is a fully operational FBO, used upon request from our customers, which includes a beautiful lobby/waiting area, reception desk, refreshment center, a flight planning room as well as its own ramp and gate access. Our North facility is located midfield just north of the Van Nuys Airport tower with easy access off the taxiway, directly onto our ramp.
Our South FBO facility is well known to the aviation community, since it was Castle & Cooke Aviation’s first FBO. Our South facility is fully operational, 24/hours a day, 7 days a week and fully staffed. Full FBO services are available, along with shuttle service, rental, hangar and office space. Being our largest FBO with continuous foot traffic on a daily basis, Castle & Cooked aimed to keep its interior aesthetic classic and elegant, full of color, art and history— and our other FBO’s followed suit.
Castle & Cooke Aviation – 7501 VIP Lobby
Our newest development at Castle & Cooke Aviation is our VIP facility. It’s excellent for large groups traveling in and out of Los Angeles, whether it be for business or pleasure. While likely used for aviation purposes, the facility serves many uses even outside the aviation realm such as private parties, hosting networking events, and business meetings. This facility includes a large conference room, reception desk or cocktail bar, fully functional kitchen, industrial refrigerators with kitchen preparatory room, and superb lounging areas for large or small groups. The space also includes its own gate entrance and its own ramp space directly off the taxiway. Seeing as it is not a full service FBO, it provides absolute privacy to any elite customer looking to avoid the busier FBO operations.

ADVANCED RESERVATIONS REQUIRED
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) require all requests to be emailed to the Landing Rights office at: landrights-lax@dhs.gov . Upon retrieval of request, CBP will notify the requestor if/when the request is granted. A landing rights request DOES NOT constitute approval of landing rights at KVNY.

1200 to 2000 Local – Thursday through Monday
*Requests for clearance outside normal hours of operation may be available upon approval by the LAX Landing Rights office.

All clearance fees are based on the aircrafts maximum certificated takeoff weight (MTOW):
- (Under 7,000 lbs.) = $250.00
- (7001 to under 22,000 lbs.) = $650.00
- (22,001 to under 35,000 lbs) = $1000.00
- (35,001 to under 85,000 lbs.) = $1,400.00
- (85,001 to under 120,000 lbs.) = $1,600.00
- (Over 120,000 lbs.) = $1,900.00
VNY CBP Clearances outside of normal hours of operation – $440 minimum
USDA/APHIS Regulated Garbage Disposal – $325 per bag of regulated waste
ALL Clearance fees must be collected by Signature Flight Support

If using a Southern Border Overflight Exemption (BOE), indicate the Aircraft RegistrationNumber under which each crew member may be located.
Passengers utilizing the Visa Waiver Program (VWP) must ensure the following two items:
- That your carrier is a VWP signatory carrier
- That the passengers have a valid approved ESTA.

With an illustrious career spanning over three decades in real estate property management, Wain brings a wealth of experience and expertise to Castle and Cooke Aviation.
Wain’s journey in property management began in 1984 when he acquired both a Real Estate License and a Broker’s License. Over the years, he has effectively managed a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential properties, demonstrating his proficiency in overseeing complex operations and fostering sustainable growth.
Prior to joining Castle & Cooke Aviation, Wain served as property manager and general manager for Santa Monica Airport’s Supermarine (KSMO)—which became Atlantic Aviation in 2005—for nearly three decades. During his tenure, he managed more than 350,000 square feet of office space and 77 hangars, overseeing iconic establishments such as The Museum of Flying, DC3 Restaurant and American Golf Company Headquarters. Under his leadership, the FBO flourished as a hub of aviation excellence and hospitality.
